Mr Jobs, I love you so.
So as anyone who has ever discussed anything with me knows, it can be an exercise in frustration. So it was no surprise yesterday during a feedback session, that a couple of the points, were the same points, I've hearing since I was six. In fact when you get the same feedback from your boss and your mom you know it's time to make a change.
- Be more structured in verbal communication. Adrian summarises and structures well in written comms, but sometimes struggles to “make his point” in meetings/conversations
- At times, Adrian could be more concise when making his point, especially to a large group. It can sound like he says the same thing in different words a few times over
- Being more succinct verbally – I admit to getting lost occasionally
- Using odd analogies – the one about trying to persuade his girlfriend to do something she didn’t want to do (that left ___ in giggling hysterics) or eBay playing the referee in a game. Neither really worked
Now essentially I blog the way I talk. Especially in comments. So even those of you who haven't spoken or IM'ed me in RL probably can see this is many of my blogs or my 'discussions' in comments.
So two things
