This was going to be longer and funkier and cooler. Then I got bored.

Plus shaving one stroke at a time is really slow. And not as much fun as you think.

I was going to call this "Shaving the Beast" but I wasn't so sure it would fit. Also not so sure what kind of google traffic it would bring. The wrong kind. Then I thought of toying with titles with the word clam and / or taco in them. Then I thought it's really going to bring the wrong kind of google traffic so I didn't do that.

That’s pretty cool already- how would it have been longer/cooler? I LOL’d when it looked like you were chomping during the stop-motion.

Haha, how funny! You have way too much time on your hands! :P

Dan,

Longer, I would have liked to use more frames.

Cooler, I wanted speech bubbles to appear next to me as I shaved with thoughts.

But stop motion takes time and I had plans that evening.

disappointed you didn’t bust out a dirty hitler moustache at the end and start goose-stepping stop-motion style across your flat.

Sev, for all the complaining you do on Twitter about too much work, not enough free time, I would agree that in some circumstances you obviously still have way too much spare time.

It’s very funny, though - so nice one for that. :)

There was a moment near the end when I suddenly thought you were going to leave the ‘tache. Thank GAWD you didn’t.

One suggestion: when making a video of yourself, keep your mouth closed to avoid that “gormless” look. Speaking from personal experience here.

Yeah I kept forgetting about the mouth. And once you have taken a stroke you can’t undo it.

More worried about how droopy my eyes look.

I didn’t notice the droopy eyes on the first view, but that was probably because I was preoccupied with open mouth, and the chomping. :-)

Yeah - I’m shaving my legs tonight so will do stop-motion for that one too. Thanks for the feedback guys. I love you all.

The bit between your eyebrows could do with a trim too… :)

My entire body is shaved. It is more aerodynamic when I do nude skydiving and street-luging. I am constantly dusting myself with talc to avoid sticking to leather seats between runs.

Very funny! And it inspired me to create a stop motion birthday greeting for a friend.
