Sitting on one’s ass is the default position of the snowboarder.
Or one’s face. My favourite snowboard trick (to watch!) is the reverse 720° faceplant.
Us boarders stop to smell the roses. We like to enjoy being on the mountain.
There is also a difference between sitting down and waiting and sitting down because one fell.
Did you go down the black run at sunrise on your arse, or was that just a pose for the camera? ;)
V. envious - nothing but sunshine and hot weather in Sri Lanka - but the beach is a pretty good substitute for not skiing this season.
Pose for the camera. Well not so much as pose, but on a board when you stop you have to sit. I did board down the black run. Black run rated I am.
I think right now I would probably take boarding over beach, even though their is infinite more gear you need to take.
Yes, and as a boarder, you have plenty of time to become accustomed to both states of being.
