And for the record, she is just as hot with a shaved head.

I wish she'd call me.

Who was that guy doing the interview? He really isn’t as funny as he thinks he is. She did so well to put up with that.

Has she still not called?

He’s Jon Stewart, who really is really funny. Daily Show, every night on More4 at 8:30. Trust me give him a try.

She still hasn’t called.

I’m guessing Natalie Portman… ohh the suspense is killing me… Jon Stewart can be funny, smart bloke as well but can be slightly grating…

OK… five minutes and less than 10% loaded. Here’s hoping it’s my network (er… company one… that is…) Will try again later…

Ade, I think the Shaven Headed Queen Amygdala has eaten all your bandwidth.

Err… Yes… YouTube/Google Video would be a fantastic idea, as I still haven’t seen this video either… And now it’s not even there anymore!-

Unlimited bandwidth is quite easy to come by these days. Best to use it while it’s there.

I’m not sure it’s legal for me to post copyrighted content at all, let alone on YourTube/Google Video.

I’ve fixed the typo in the URL, it’s back up.

Have you had a look on YouTube? I’d say more than half the videos on there are copyrighted. Either way, posting a video on your blog for no financial gain would be considered ‘Fair Use’, especially if the clip in question had already been posted on the C&L website or some such place. And if it’s on YouTube and there’s a complaint regarding copyright, you don’t have to worry about it, it’ll be sorted by YouTube, and they’ll email you to tell you whether it’s still up or not.

Now if you BitT’ed it down and posted it, that would be another story.

The film clip reminded me of Nikita with Anne Parillaud but the synopsis of V for Vendetta is completely different, definitely one to go see. And doesn’t Natalie Portman have a wonderful laugh? I can see why you’re smitten.

Daisy - good connecton: Nikita was filmed by Luc Besson who followed it with Leon which was Natalie Portman’s first film. I’m impressed.

Unfortunately she let herself down in this interview with “We worked with the Matrix team - I loved those films!” No matter how hot she is, I just couldn’t respect her after that.

Ooh that’s fighting talk their. In times gone by that would be good enough to challenge you to a dual.

1) I loved the matrix films (although 2&3 less so) 2) She’s obviously not going to slate her current crew 3) She’s still hot 4) I don’t care I love her anyway.

I love the Matrix fils too, I’ve watched all three of them one after the other a couple of times, and really think the overriding story carries through, and I actually think towards the end of the story (in the 3rd film) it all starts to get a bit rushed, I feel there would have been enough story to flesh out into a fourth film. But that’s just crazy talk. And the two bits when Neo and Trinity had a big snog were really, really shit. The ridin’ scene was good though, imho.

What were we talking about? Wouldn’t Natalie Portman have made a brilliant Trinity if she had been just a little bit older when the Matrix films were filmed? I think so.

Natalie Portman in skintight PVC is obviously a mental postcard that I would like to pin up in my cerebral shed. I don’t think it would have made the films (well, 2 & 3) any better - god knows even the presence of a rubber clad Monica Belluci wouldn’t make me subject myself to that again.

Matthew - what overriding story? There wasn’t one. It was just all pretentious pseudo theological drivel guilty trying to disguise itself as some sort of poignant Cartesian allegory. And Adrian, there are ways of not slating your current crew without comprimising your integrity.

Hey look, compared to the script she had to work with in Star Wars 3, you can see how good the matrix might have looked. And she probably didn’t know how bad Lucas was when she signed on for Star Wars.
