I'm going to the WebVisions 2004 conference next week. Feel free to feel jealous with envy and hate me. After several annoying screw ups (a separate rant) I've got my flights for the conference and some ensuing holiday booked.
I'm going to be a broken little white boy at the end of this.

In 10 days I am flying 12280 miles (that’s about 20 000 km's) and spending 26 hours and 59 minutes in the air. I'll be in 4 different time zones. I doubt I'll know if I am coming or going.
To put that in perspective, that's climbing up and down Kilimanjaro 1666 times. It's the equivalent of going round the M25 98 ¼ times. At the average speed one gets up to on the M25 I would be 39 by the time I finished that.
I'll be staying at the delightful looking Andrews Hotel in San Francisco, and with my friends Matt & Vanessa in NYC.
Now the big question is ... what do I wear for the conference?
Hate the man, not suit!

thats nothing mate been around the world, twice, in 15 days - i’d be 78 by the time I’d finish that :-)
2. k
i demand that you buy me - rather, wait, no - that you let ME buy YOU a beer.
3. Adrian
I submit to your demand.

Awww…if only you’d flown into Seattle instead of Portland. I would have taken you out for a swanky drink.
5. Vendela (a.k.a. Wendy)
When you fly over Chicago, wave at my house! It’s the grey one with the iron balconies.

Ah sure I did 12,375 miles last Thursday and Friday week. No bother to me. And 4 different timezones in a day in a half. That was a bit harder. Sweet.

SO! After doing 12,375 miles a coupla weeks ago, I’ve now done 3,892 kilometres (2,432 miles) OVERLAND in the past two weeks. Not in a plane like. And then I’ll be doing 12,596 miles next Sunday. So that’s…err…27,403 altogether! Phew. Bit tired now so I am. ‘Spect.
