Eventually found an application to convert MP3's to WMA's for my portable audio player. Why Microsoft didn't include this in Media Player as part of their world domination plan I don't know. It would have been easy to do. Anyway, after a bit of hunting I found a good, free (yeah some good things are still free) application. Now I can fit about twice the music on.
There is a story on the site where I got this application from about the music industry and digital music and the such. Besides being an interesting read, it's written using everybody's favorites, the Mr. Men. Well worth the read. Well if you are vaguely interested.
